Staff can record vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups directly in the field, without needing to be in the office. Access is via any up-to-date web browser, with no need to install additional apps.
Is the software cloud-based or installed locally?
Way2Rentals is a 100% cloud-based platform (SaaS). It requires no installation on local computers or on your own servers, nor does it require any infrastructure maintenance. All you need is internet access to use all its features. Updates are automatic and data is stored securely, with regular backups and guaranteed availability.
Is my data safe?

I want to change programme but I'm afraid I'll lose some data?

How do integrations work?

Brokers:

You should contact the Broker in question and find out if they work with us, in which case if there is already API integration everything is easier. You should then request an API key from our support department.

Payments:

Integration is carried out via a token between the organisation and us. The following instructions are sent by email and must be submitted via the payment system portal.

Invoicing:

Integration with the aforementioned organisations is quick and has been thoroughly tested to save you time and effort when processing documents.

Via Verde:

Under the RAC protocol, the integration of Via Verde tickets with our platform requires FTP credentials sent by Via Verde, which allows tickets to be associated directly with hire contracts.

How much does Way2Rentals cost?

The platform connects to the 365id ecosystem to automate the scanning and validation of identity documents at the counter.

  1. When you scan your driving licence, passport or national ID card using the 365id physical scanner, the data is read in seconds.
  2. Customer details (name, tax number, document number, expiry date) are sent directly to the driver’s profile on Way2Rentals.
  3. The system displays the validation result immediately, ensuring that the document is genuine before handing over the vehicle.
Does Way2Rentals support vehicle maintenance management?
Yes. Way2Rentals includes a maintenance module that records the full history of each vehicle — servicing, repairs, MOTs and other services. The system sends automatic alerts when a vehicle is approaching its scheduled maintenance date or mileage, ensuring that important maintenance tasks are not overlooked and helping to extend the fleet’s service life.
Is it possible to manage multiple branches or stations using the same software?
Yes. Way2Rentals is a multi-agency, multi-user platform. You can manage multiple stations or counters from a central account, with different access levels for each user. This is particularly useful for companies with branches in different cities, airports or regions, which require centralised visibility and real-time operational control across all locations.
Does Way2Rentals integrate with Portuguese invoicing software?

This integration enables the automatic generation of accounting documents — invoices, receipts and credit notes — directly from the platform, without the need to enter data manually into a second system.

Which payment gateways are available on Way2Rentals?
Way2Rentals integrates with the leading payment gateways: Reduniq (Visa and MasterCard, MB WAY, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Multibanco bank transfers), SIBS (Multibanco and MB Way), Visa, PayPal and Stripe. This variety allows you to accept online payments via the website at the time of booking, or in person at the counter — offering flexibility to both the business and the end customer, without the need for separate contracts with each payment processor.

Yes. Way2Rentals integrates via API with leading international brokers and distribution platforms, including EconomyCarrentals, Discovery, CarJet, Aurumcars, Zest Car Rentals, Enjoytravel and Rentcars. These integrations enable the automatic distribution of fleet availability across international channels and the receipt of bookings without the need for manual updates, thereby increasing visibility and occupancy rates.
Can I integrate Way2Rentals with my WordPress website?

Yes. Way2Rentals offers direct integration with WordPress, allowing customers to make online bookings with payments integrated directly into your website. Fleet availability is updated in real time, bookings are automatically entered into the management platform, and payments are processed securely — with no duplication of effort and no need to manage two separate systems.
